Hey fellers

What does my 1988 BJ75 single cab pick up weigh, wet? It is technically a 08-1987 BJ75LP-MRW I want to get a car lift so I can park a car underneath it. Thanks!

Don’t know what the basic empty weight of our Utes is but mine loaded up both tanks full with two on board weighs in at around 6600lbs. Which is at or near max gross.

I don't know exactly but given the figures for the VDJ79 single cab you'll be looking at around 4200-4500lbs for a stock BJ75. Maybe a little lighter, but not by much. I found one place that said an HZJ75 came in at 4350lbs curb weight; a BJ75 is probably a little lighter?

Your local garbage dump transfer station will probably have a scale, as do many wholesale landscaping supply places.
