Thanks Wayne, all of you guys have a couch to crash on in Auckland, and a free ride in the my new V8 LC (dreaming)....if I don't go broke getting down there!

She's still for sale, just advertised it this morning in the Victoria and Vancouver Used websites: usedvictoria.com, usedvancouver.com

I hadn't really been pressing because I needed it during school, but I graduated this past week so I'm ready to part with her.

She's going to be in Qualicum Beach now until she sells. If she doesn't go before I leave for NZ (Aug1), my brother in law is going to do the footwork selling her.

12K is my initial price, but I'm willing to entertain offers! You won;t find another one like this anytime soon!:bounce2:

Cheers,

John

I was wondering if you have a link or line on the hardware and canvass for soft top. I'd like to go stock with my 73.

Any tips would be great and I'm happy to lengthen to suit my longer wheel base

I've seen the cabrio de stuff and it looks cool but your's looks better IMO.

Cheers,

John

Sorry, no idea where to get Toyota factory soft-tops. Maybe ask Wayne (Crushers). Mine is not a retro-fit soft-top, the roll bar, doors and struts across the top are all built specifically for a soft-top, I would think converting a fibreglass top would involve some fabrication.

It's on Vancouver Island, so super-cold temperatures don't exist. Having said that, we get snow, and it handles great. It has a strong heater that gets the inside warm quickly once you start driving.

For really cold climates, you'd want to install an oil heater.

Can this be brought into the USA and titled?

Congrats on the sale. The one importer I tracked down said I couldn't import your truck into the U.S. If you or anyone else with a JDM 70 series learned of a way to import this type of rig, I would appreciate any info on the subject. The threads I've read here haven't addressed rigs like yours.
Good luck with your move.
Peter
