For Sale is our 1987 Toyota Land Cruiser 214,000 miles.

This started out as a project car 2 years ago as we had this very same vehicle/year/color when I was a kid and wanted to bring this one back to life. It has been updated/rebuild with OEM or similar quality parts. We had no plan to sell but have found we need a 3rd row seat so looking to move to a 100 series. I'll try and list everything I have done to it or had done to it. I want to be as honest as possible so please ask any questions.

If anyone has questions please let me know. I'm located in Red Lodge Montana.

Driveline/brakes:
New hancook ATM tires (~32 inch on 16 inch KMC rims) OEM ~3 inch medium lift with castor correction shims for alignment, remanufactured steering box, rebuild steering column, new tie rods/drag links, Rear driveline line replaced rebalance with all new u-joints, full brake job, new master cylinder, new clutch cylinder.

Engine:
Rebuilt factory carburetor, rebuilt intake/exhaust manifold with new gaskets and interior seals, full tune up, new fan clutch, replaced HAC valve, de-smogged but retained factory parts if needed, new water pump, replaced crankcase seal, oil galley plug repair/mod, valve adjustment. New/repaired AC unit prior to purchase. Block heater installed.

Interior:
FJ62 dash mod, touch screen DVD player with auxiliary amp and new speakers, full interior sound deadening/matting (super quiet!!). replaced all interior lights with LEDS from PFRAN. New/replaced interior from previous owner, new headliner, new windshield (one small starburst repaired). Carpet is in okay shape for the trucks year. All interior switches work rear heater, etc.

Exterior:
Overall great body no fender rust front or back, no quarter panel rust. New interior and exterior door seals and exterior hatch seal, Mirror from 62 as well and 60, new ARB front bumper with aftermarket driving/spot lights, custom rear swing out bumper with high lift jack carrier, reverse light upgrade to super bright LED, replaced front headlights, replaced wiper motor front, new wipers. It does have some bubbling around the rain gutters that was my next step on repair/rebuilding

The only problems/last project: The only blemish on the body is some gutter rust that we had planned on repairing. The engine and cooling system work well, but the temp gauge is a bit sensitive? it runs mid-3/4 warm on highway speeds but has never over heated. Had our mechanic temp test everything and all was okay with the hand held temp gun at the block, temp gauge radiator hoses, etc. The only piece of the cooling system I was going to replace was the radiator everything else has been replaced/repaired. Mechanic checked it for head gasket problems and everything tested okay. Engine burns minimal oil after idle.

Please message me with any questions.

Price: 12,000 OBO.
