I've reluctantly decided to sell my 1987 FJ60 which is currently being used as my daily driver. Everything is well maintained, currently registered in CA, thus passes CA smog. I'm selling the vehicle due to a new job and longer commute, thus it's just not practical for me to drive. The truck is all stock, 4spd transmission, has some rust, but nothing major. Overall, the truck is great, I use it daily so please feel free to contact with any questions.

The Good!

The original 2F engine was replaced with a lower mileage rebuilt 2F. Approximate mileage on the new engine is 140k and installed less than a year ago
In addition, the truck has a new clutch, radiator, front and rear brakes, catalytic converter and exhaust have all been replaced within the past year.
The carburetor has also been professionally rebuilt within the past year.
Currently there is no significant rust on the truck with the exception of a few random spots here and there.
Passes CA smog and is currently registered in CA and is driven at freeway speeds daily

The not so good!

The rear fenders and rocker panels have been repaired from rust damage.
The 4spd transmission shifts okay with the exceptions of 2nd and reverse can be a bit temperamental at times, but overall works. It is very difficult to downshift from 3rd to 2nd and reverse can be difficult to get out of.
Just recently I've experienced some radiator coolant loss, so it will run a touch on the warm side on the freeway if you don't watch it. I have not had it diagnosed and have had varying opinions on what the issue may be with the worst undiagnosed possibility of a cracked head.

Other than above, the trucks drives great and is used on the freeway daily.

The truck is located in San Francisco, CA. Asking price is $7,500. I have approximately 15k invested in the truck as a result of my Landcruiser addiction.

Feel free to contact with any questions.
