1987 FJ60 4-speed, 234k miles. New carb, new clutch, new tires (general Grabber AT2) less than 1k miles ago. VERY GOOD condition body and frame. Nearly rust free and I have seen several 60's in person and none of them look as good as mine on the frame and body (non-restored anyway). This one has nice paint, brush guard, I have a roof rack...but it's not on the Rig. Runs well, but does have an exhaust leak where the EGR port comes off the header near the rear of the engine. This rig comes with AN EXTRA 2F that was running but had head gasket issue as well as another 4 speed trans and split transfer case that was shifting as well. New shocks (some cheapies), new sway bar bushing and arms, new front steering links,

AC blows ice cold. Converted to R134A. Gets good gas mileage (15 or so) at 70-75 mph. All 4wd works. Comes with some leaf springs that seem like someone added a leaf (not installed) as well as extra light bezels, FACTORY seats that need recovering (and an additional driver's seat), and the power leather seats that the previous owner put in it.

Nice truck.

I assume you meant 5-6 mpg at 70-75. No way it is 15-16 unless you only drive downhill or with the hurricane wind at your back

Thanks for the free bumps. I tried my best to verify this mileage via GPS on my phone to check my speedo as well as to take measurements of mileage markers between fueling stops. Now...I could have done bad math, but I have a BRAND NEW carb on my motor that actually feels a bit lean on the jetting and I adjusted the valves when I did all of that. Either way I'm quite confident it is AT LEAST 14.8 mpg on the highway at 70-73 mph. Maybe you guys are due a tuneup because a quick search will find that my numbers are not completely outlandish (at least to the point that this is all you got out of my complete for sale thread to the point of being compelled to proclaim me a liar).

Please do not further clutter my for sale thread with such comments.

Thanks,
Patrick

Excellent truck brother. Hard to find them in this condition. I am not the authority, however I feel confident your price is in line. This is a tough crowd here and there is very few that feel anything is worth much. I'm about to list another amazing 45 example and there will be some reason to hate no matter the extraordinary reality.

I love your truck and applaud the condition.

Did you miss the first 2 words of my post? It's a nice truck! For the shape, I think it's worth 10k

Fill it up, drive 200 miles, then refill. If you used less than 13.3gal, I apologize

Just to throw it out there, I could get 15-16 mpg on the highway back when my fj60 was more stock. I was running lean as well due to a leaking gas line at the tank! Thats a great looking truck btw
