Ok, so California CARB is claiming another victim. This FJ was purchased new by my parents in 1987. Original California car. I still remember they had to special order the Grey interior with Brown exterior because I didn't like the Brown/Tan interior. The FJ sat in my parents driveway for a few years and then they were going to sell it, so 4 years ago it became my project. A new carburetor (from Specter), new thermostat, Optima battery, Sony head unit, JL audio speakers, seat covers, black carpet, and flat black paint have been put into the FJ. The FJ passed Smog two years ago, but it will not pass now. I don't drive it much and I would love to keep in my family, but I just don't have the time or money to play with it any more. Runs really great which makes the smog issue even more annoying.

The bad: dash is damaged around the head unit (some jerk tried to steal stereo years ago), missing chrome trim about windows on drivers side rear doors to A pillar, missing rear wiper arm, new flat black paint but could use body work, major dent in drivers fender near vent, rear chrome bumper has dents, A/C needs to be recharged. Only rust spot is on passenger A pillar. Overall in good shape for a 23 year old truck.

Has 207, 353 miles. I have a bunch of pictures and would be happy to send. Please email me joemdzd@yahoo.com with any questions or if I skilled any information.

Asking $4800...OBO

Its jsu for that price you can buy an 80 or a 62 series that is in alot better condition in ca. Your major issue is probably the smog, then it has bad dents needing body work damaged dash ( which are getting harder and harder to find) so there's alot of factors working against you. Realistically expect to get 1k-2k for it.
Remember there is an ass for every seat it's just a matter of finding it. LOL

Just a little info
I bought one of my 87 witha super clean interior but did not pass smog needed new catalytic converter + more work for emission. Little body work for $650.00

I would agree with 1000 plus or minus. The cruiser is rough. 2 cents MIke

ditto...I bought one in this kinda shape 2yrs ago for $500. not bagging your rig or price decision, just giving you info...

I'll give you 750.00 and I'll pick it up.

Are you serious someone stole the 60. That blows.
