In the last 6months, I've done:

Complete front Brakes
All new Tie Rod/Drag link ends
New Tie Rod, and refurbished drag links
Front wheel Bearings

What it needs:

*Back brakes will need replacing in the next year or so (depending on how much you drive)
*Head lights do not work (there's s short) which I WILL fix before you take delivery of the truck. (I know exactly where the problem is)
*ARB compressor won't turn on. I'm going to try to diagnose this as I think it's just a bad ground connection or a blown fuse.

AND of course the full disclosure that this is a wheeling rig. It has plenty of "trail - rash", ect...and there is a little rust, but not much as
It does not come out in the winter. The frame is SOLID. There were two sections on the inner frame rail
(which is common for the FJ60's) that my friend (a professional welder-Poor Wally) repaired. The bumpers are welded directly to the frame...

Would it survive a drive back to Kansas City? Or the better question. What would you do to it before sending a 19 year old daughter off to school 2 states away? You can PM or email me your response. jmaruschak@earthcon.net

I'd buy her a Corolla!
But Jon's truck is a nice one. Sad to see you sell it! A Poor Wally 40 next?

I don't have a daughter going off to school. But when I was selling a truck and was asked that question, it helped me itemize the things the seller was asking. I like wrenching on Toyotas, so it was more of a question of, what will need to be done in the next month or so after buying.

This thing looks sweet!!

HA...that's a good way to ask what it needs for sure!

I listed everything I think it will need in the near future. Primarily back brakes...but even that is a bit off as the brakes still work great.

I went over the truck a few months ago, and did fluids, ect...The truck mechanically sound, and I would not hesitate to drive it anywhere. IN fact, last year I did a 1,000 mile trip over a 5 day period, which included some hard wheeling, and didn't pull a single tool the whole time.

I'm super sad to see her go...but another "opportunity" - (in the form of another cruiser) has presented itself...

Anyhow, please feel free to contact me anytime with questions:

I'm SUPER sad, and almost torn up about selling her. However, another rig has presented itself, and I simply can't pass it up!

...more to come on that....

OH yeah, and the wife said I can only have ONE cruiser at a time....

HEADLIGHTS are WORKING:)

The ARB compressor, and locker work but I believe I have a bad switch. (ordering today)
