All I can say is it's a good thing that truck is 1/2 way across the country and not closer, otherwise it would be in my driveway right now and I'd be a lot poorer.

Good luck on the sale.

You sure you don't want another 80? :D

If I decide to sell mine outright and this thing is still for sale (highly unlikely) I'm coming for it.

The noteable stuff from my paper documents, but I do have the fully detailed excel file with everything down to the oil changes.

I've always run 10w-30 sythetic with a 4-5k interval change.

New shortblock, head reworked, torque cam, water pump, steel timming guide, toyota seals/gaskets used: Nov'02 -- 311k
New '87 4runner tranny with 180k miles rebuilt with new front& rear main shaft bearings, and all new counter shaft bearings: Nov'02 -- 311k
New TOYOTA clutch, throwout & pilot bearing: Nov'02 -- 311k
New radiator: June'05 -- 330

Front suspension: Dec'05 -- 334k

New 33x12.50 Mikey Thompson MTZ : May'07 -- 340k
TOYOTA 4.88 gears out of a v6 auto 4Runner with 160k miles + Rear locker + Solid pinion spacer: Mar'07 --340k

Some other things I've done in the last 1-1/2yr is:
New u-joints, inner and outter tie rod ends, idler arm, front wheel bearings, v6 callipers, rear wheel cylinders, Tundra booster+master cylinder, clutch master cylinder, stainless steel brake lines, new fan clutch fluid.

Not to mention the 90amp alternator, long travel front suspension, longer chevy rear springs, and SUPER nice sport seats, and fresh coolant this past december. I'm also going to leave the stereo in it but don't see it as much of a selling point, just an fyi.

Folks I've known Ben for several years and have been wheeling with him a few times in this truck and I can certainly vouch for the excellent care he's put into this rig. I'd be all over this little truck if it wasn't for having too many cars right now.

Wait a minute....Ben I do have a nice little '83 Mercedes 300D that loves to run on Biodiesel. I think it would look great in your driveway.
