Here is the deal. I spent the last 7 years in working in Kosovo and I am now in route to Alaska.

I have had a 1986 FJ60 in storage for the last 7 years and the boss says it ain't getting shipped to Alaska.

New radiator, rebuilt carb, new springs (no lift), new shocks, new alternator and a bunch of stuff that slips my mind. I figure less than 140 K miles. Usual rust. For sure not perfect, but 7 years ago it ran pretty well. Changed the oil and filled the fuel tank before taking off. 2 tires are now flat, they may just need to be refilled to move it. Good title.

I do not have the time to make it run at this point.

The truck is in a storage facility in Watertown NY, I am in Canada and it will take me a day or so to get to the faculty.

Bottom line is that the truck is not going to Alaska, I am not going to be able to continue to pay the storage fee.

I do not want to see the truck hauled to regular salvage yard.

I do not have many pictures. It went into storage before my "digital" age. Ask and I will send what I have.

Bottom line: help me do something useful with this beast.

Thanks again Mike. It was one hell of trip, but we made it home safe.

Still cant believe it started right up.

Have fun with it. Glad it didn't get scrapped. That it spent 7 years untended in unheated storage and cranks and runs, total bonus.

Good work Interpol. I knew it would start! Glad to see this is going to good home. Let us know what you do with it.

Good luck with everything in Alaska, Michael.

Just slapped some plates on it and drove it around. I love this thing. My neighbor wanted to buy it from me. No chance lol.
