For sale is a 1986 FJ60 which includes the following. The vehicle is smog legal in California and has the BAR sticker. I have owned it for 6 months and am only selling it to buy a buggy that I have always had my eye on. This is located in Tulare, CA

  • 1994 Crate TBI 350 with a matching cam and intake. Has newer throttle body and matching injectors. Has approximately 10,000 miles on it.
  • 4L60E with a mild shift kit.
  • Marlin Toybox with 4.7's gear kit.
  • Dual battery setup
  • 8274 Warn winch
  • Spring Over Axle
  • FJ80 Full Float rear with a Detroit and 4.56's
  • Custom Width FJ60 Diamond Axle Front Housing (63") with a Yukon Grizzly locker, RCV Birfields and Inner Axles, Chromoly Hub Gears, 25 MM Marlin Big Bearing Kit, and ARP Knuckle Studs.
  • Cross Over Steering
  • 4 Wheel Disc Brakes
  • 17" Raceline Beadlocks with 37" Goodyear MTR's (Old Style).
  • Tuffy Security Inner Console
  • Tire Carrier w spare tire (never used MTR)
  • Onboard Viair which is plumbed to the front and rear.
  • Custom rock sliders
  • CB
  • Stereo in tuffy console
  • New front shock hoops
  • New bilstein shocks on all 4 corners
  • Lokar Shifter
This thing drives nicely to the trail. The front axle only has one run on it through the Rubicon and worked flawlessly. Like I said, the only reason I am selling is that I am buying a buggy that I have had my eyes on for the past 7 years. I should have pictures posted up tomorrow. There are a few dings and it does have the original paint job on it. If you have any question, please let me know.

Thanks.

Some pics. I haven't had a chance to clean it up since the Marlin Roundup.

Some more pics after I washed it. A pretty bitchin wagon that drives straight down the road at 80 mph

I'm interested. Pictures of the frame in the rear? Is dual battery system complete? Was it built by a Mud member? I currently have an 86 with a 5 speed. Scott

I will have to get you pictures tomorrow. I am not sure if it was built by a mud member. I just finished putting the front axle in myself. The dual battery setup is complete. The cables come off the side post on the yellow top

I have had quite a few questions on how it drives. It drives straight with no death wobble. I had it up to 80 on the freeway the other day and holding the wheel with one hand. The front axle was just put under it a month ago along with the marlin big bearing kit. Shocks are less than 3 months old. High steer is new and spring perches and knuckles were set up by Front Range offroad
