Most recent edit added several videos of a of a cold start.

I have added quite a number of photos in comments in order to present a clear picture of how solid this 60 really is.

Any other info or pictures needed I will be happy to post for or send email to interested Mudders.

_____________

“Finally getting back to offering this Texas FJ converted to BJ 60, 3B diesel H55 for sale. It has been in indoor storage since last advertised except for about one month this past September when I couldn’t bear looking at it sitting idle! Has been started and run to operating temps periodically during storage.

Originally listed at $25K, my thinking was to allow for expenses related to importation back to USA and or delivery/shipping costs. I would not hesitate to drive this vehicle to just about any destination that might be mutually agreeable to a buyer.”

With that in mind it would be my hope to “net out” at approximately $20K.

If interested message here and I will provide any pictures or details as requested.”
________

1986 FJ60. Texas truck with Texas title. Purchased in 2012 and imported into Canada as a recipient for a diesel transplant. This Cruiser is currently in Canada (Manitoba) but as the seller I can import it back into the USA without any difficulty. I would be confident driving it to a suitable point for delivery, it has been my daily driver up until October 2016 and has been stored for the past 14 months.

Price reduced to $20K room for negotiating depending on costs associated with importation and or transportation/delivery.

Since being imported from Texas the truck has seen a minimum of winter use here in Canada.

Interested parties can reply by PM for any further information, photos or contact details.

Much appreciated, mixed feelings about offering “TC” for sale. I have driven 60’s since buying my first one new in 1982 and have put well over a million Kms on a combination of 3 vehicles!

And a few more. Surface rust only, attempting to show areas that are typically a problem for a 60 series frame/body.

And more shots of typically troubled spots. I can’t emphasize it enough, this is a solid body with no corrosion issues. This is the third 60 series I have had. The firs two were our family transportation and I know where the rust issues are and this frame/body doesn’t have them.

A video of a “cold start” here this AM. Outside temp approximately 30 degrees Fahrenheit, truck has been sitting for about 6 weeks so battery voltage is low (approx 10V), still summer weight (20w-50 Mobil 1 synthetic).

Video of actual “cold start” was too long to post, I will attempt to edit a shorter version otherwise I can email to anyone interested. Three attaches clips taken within minutes of initial start up.

Thanks for patience, I am not too good at this process!

OK, to prove my lack of ability, I am being told my videos (.MOV) do not have an allowed extension.

If anyone can message me or post here with HELP I would appreciate it. Thanks in advance.

Beautiful truck. If you have a YouTube account I’d recommend uploaded it there and then posting a link to it here 👍🏼
