This truck has a few issues to be addressed. Buy it now price is as it sits. As soon as I start working on it, the price will go up. Come and get it and save a bunch of time and effort if you want a SOA 60.
Issues-
The rearend needs to be rebuilt after a wheelstand on a ledge that broke the long side shaft. The shaft has been replaced but, the diff carrier bearings feel a bit tight.
It also has a fuel delivery problem I haven't been able to pinpoint. Stumbles after driving for a while.
Rear springs need to be replaced after said wheelstand tweaked them a little (I have replacements from the parts truck).
SOA complete but needs low profile pitman arm (Sky or FZJ80) and rear track bar (have the RuffStuff parts to build) to wheel hard.
Motor runs a bit warm. It has sat for a while and probably needs a flush. I also suspect the timing is advanced to the point that it runs the engine temp up. Other than that, runs strong for a 2F pulling 37's.
Body has been massaged by AZ boulders. Some rust (winter in Colorado) Drivers rear wheel well & rear hatch seal only, surface rust on unpainted frame mods. Interior is decent, but drivers seat is torn.
The truck would be a ton of fun as a weekend rig, but it is a bit rough as a DD or for the wife. I also would not send some one on a drive cross country in it. It really is an out and back weekend rig. This truck needs some love before it's ready for a long trip. It is begging to have the V8 and doubler installed to make for a perfect family crawler. That is what I had in mind for it.
Why am I selling? To pay bills. So I consolided my Tacoma and the 60 into this...
