Howdy! Well, it's time for me to thin out my herd. Not enough time and money to properly care for 3 project rigs. This one is The Primo Pickup. It is the last year for a solid front axle, first year for fuel injection. It is an extra-cab with upgraded seats, so it is pretty roomy, even for tall folks. It has 204,000 on the original engine, and has never failed smog. On the other hand, it is old enough to qualify for Historical plates, which makes it exempt from smog testing. It has a 5 speed transmission, power steering, non working A/C, 35" Wranglers, 3" body lift, 4" suspension lift, and custom tube from John Hunter of Hunter Fab in Tempe. The original rusty bed was replaced with a matching NON rusty bed. The original auto-locking hubs have been replaced with Warn HDs. The rear axle has been redone with 5.29 gears and a Detroit Locker. The front axle is still stock gearing, so it cannot be run in 4x4 until that is done. The price will go up to $3500 if I have to post it up on Craigslist, and it will double if I have to regear the front axle to make it sell. I would really like to see this truck stay in the club. I think it has the potential to be an amazing rig. John 480-899-5502 <tlc76@cox.net>

It would be nice to find one of these in the next year or so when Braedon is ready for a truck.

Nice truck, if only I needed another 85. May have someone who wants it, I will spread the word. Very nice truck, should sell quick, not many of these left un-butchered.

Hey All,

That is one nice looking pick-up truck. I didn't get clearance from upper management to go through with it, so it's still fair game. Good luck with the sale, John. That one should sell quick!

No sweat. I'm sure it will sell, but I'm just trying to keep it "close to home" so I can watch and see what happens to it. It is totally uncut, so it could go back to completely stock/original, or it could go Bobtail with a 4.3Chevy, dual transfer cases, and 37"s. John

does it have hi-steer? or stock steering?
Howdy! The steering is still stock. Steers nice, no leaks. PM me a regular email and I can send you a dozen pix including engine bay and interior. It is a mighty clean truck for being 25 years old. John
