So I bought this Land Cruiser to have as a fun beach truck. After i bought it (in Davis, CA) I had it towed to Mudrak's Land Cruiser shop to get the car rebuilt and get her running great. While it was there, I came across a fun 75 FJ40 that I had to have. Can't keep them both.

I just got this truck smogged this am (Oct 14), and it passed with flying colors.

I just submitted the final paperwork to get the CLEAN title in my name. I have current registration on the truck now. Good till June! Title should be here this week.

Truck has new tires as well.

It does idle a bit rough, but runs like a sewing machine once you give it any amount of gas.

Inside of the car is pretty dirty and beat up, as it was used on an Orchard for most of its life. Apparently they used to stack logs on top of it, which is why the roof is wavy!

Truck has A/C, but I haven't bothered to try to fix it. I'm sure it can be done relatively easily.

Not a perfect truck by any means, but will run forever. It is a 4 speed.

Could definitely use a new driver's seat, carpet kit and carpet for the rear area.

There are no spots on the body where rust has broken through. A few small spots of surface rust as seen in pics!

$5300/obo

If you'd like specific pictures, please send a Pm!

How many miles? Why didn't Mudrak fix the idle? What is the rust status on the body? Where in SD?

Forgot the miles! Thanks! 272k.

Very small rust spot on the tail gate area... that's about it! The rest is in pretty good shape.

There is a dent in the rocker on the passenger side, pic attached as well.

The idle thing was weird once it got fully warmed up it idled a bit higher, so it could be lowered now. Not sure why it wasn't given back perfect. I wasn't there to check it out before the car was sent down here.

I'm in N. County. Border of Escondido and San Marcos.

Small update.
Idle seems to have settled down and I have a clean title in my hands and in my name!
