I am selling my 1985 4Runner SR5 package truck. This truck has the 22RE fuel injected engine, solid front axle. SR5 seats with lots of factory upgrades over standard 4Runners of the era.
Factory tach, rear folding seats, sunroof, rear heat are some of the extra SR5 bonuses!
Truck has 281K on it and a rebuilt engine probably 50K ago. Still runs like a dream.
31" Bridgestone Dueler Revo ATs with around 15K on them.
OME suspension upgrade. new springs, shackles, shocks, steering stabilizer. HD springs and shocks. greaseable shackles.
Regeared to 4:56
New 3 row radiator, new battery, tuned up.
New exhaust, high flow CC, Dynomax Super Turbo Muffler
Husky floor liners, front and rear
Replaced rear wheel cylinder and rear brake shoes, turned rear drums, replaced front brake pads and rotors and repacked bearings.
Pioneer CD player, with MP3 adapter, Memphis Audio speakers in front dash and Pioneer speakers in the rear.
I have driven this truck everywhere. Xcountry last summer. pulled a driftboat all over MT and it never thought about over heating. I think that the 3 row radiator was a nice addition. Very nice, clean rig. The interior has dark brown carpet and brown seats. No rips or holes in seats. Not smoked in. A good carpet shampoo would return the carpet to like new condition. IMO, too nice to make into a crawler but a fine trail and DD truck to last a very long time.
No rust. I would be hard pressed to find some definite rust on the frame. It was a California truck all it's life until I picked up and brought it to Georgia, garage kept it's whole life. Just look at that retro Gold!
I am the 3rd owner after the 2nd owner it less than 3 months.
Asking $5500 OR give me your best offer. PM me if you want to discuss over a phone call.
