Blue 1984 FJ60 with 176K miles
4.8L vortec conversion with an automatic 4L60-E tranny. (80K miles)
I was told (from Mike at Dadja's automotive) that it came from a 02' silverado or a chevrolet express. The miles I'm a little unsure of but according to the previous owner it was around 80K. He did not do the conversion but was done by a guy in Irving ,TX that is known for these type of setups. The A/C and heater are not currently hooked up. The A/C has new lines but needs a switch and the hoses for the heater have been tied off.
The right rear quarter panel has been hit and the clear coat is coming off the hood and roof. The tires are have 90% tread left. The dash and windshield both have a crack and 1 speaker works. That being said, it runs really good and shifts smoothly. I wanted to make sure it was a sound vehicle since my 16 year old would be driving it to school on a daily basis. I had Dadja's automotive go through it and address anything major that needed to be fixed.
Also, the transfer case has been rebuilt but needs an adapter for the chevrolet tranny.
I have had it for about a year and get compliments all the time but recently purchased a FJ80.
