Hello All,
Does this sensor actually auto ajust anything?
and if not working what might the symptoms be?
how would that effect emissions test?
Can you test this sensor somehow?

'84 is carbed, doesn't have an O2 sensor. Your probably looking at the temp sensor on the upstream side of the cat.

Yep-it's a temp sensor that tells the ABV to shut off the air injection if the cat gets too hot.

Thanks gentlemen,

Makes sense being carbed, but the SOR parts list I believe show it as a Oxygen sensor in the emissions section.

What might results be if not working, would the engine shut off, low power?
