okay so its now winter, time to catch up on a shop full of parts and trucks waiting for them, I am working on finishing my Tundra V8 into my 80 (link https://forum.ih8mud.com/showthread.php?t=116400) and doing a propane conversion on my 83 (avatar photo) from www.gotpropane.com I was able to pick up a turbo manifold from a 22RTE, the engine is a 22r bored to 94 mm with wiseco pistons and a 20R head with 2mm larger valves intake/exaust roughly about 10.6 to1 compression.

instead of doing the fuel injection swap I chose propane because of the higher octane for the higher compresion as well as if I roll over I wont have ANY gasoline running around anywhere.

now here is where I need advice on the Turbo, I know I already have high compresion but I want the added power of a turbo so I am looking for advice on a mild turbo that will have a nice amount of power but be reliable (doesnt have to boost the crap out of it) I do not know alot about turbos so I would throw this one out to the turbo folks in MUD any tips on tunimng with propane (turbo) or building tips?

If you are crawling the I dont see where the turbo would help, seeing you would have to be on the gas for it to spool up.I also thought about a turbo, but saving pennies for a supercharger.Superchargers add power through the whole RPM range...as turbos need higher revs.
Just my .02.

get a little greddy 2 stage set up for a pooned out honda itll spool with low rpm and not be a big air pusher for you.
