Anybody know if re-painting of the 1983 had an affect on the value? Did it help or hurt in this case?

I went and looked at this truck in person. I drove it as well. I ran a magnet around the known trouble areas and it stuck everywhere. It drove well too. As far as the paint goes, the beige looks really nice. The only issue (in my opinion) was with the use of gloss black on the entire front bumper, rear bumper and bumperettes.

the white rear flares you didn't see as the same type of issue?

I was just answering the paint question.

If you want my humble opinion about the fender flares, I don't think they help either. I believe one of them is cracked a bit.

sorry I meant mine as a question too, do you see the flares as help/hurt to resale. Thanks for your answer
