I just notice this add in Quebec, a 1983 BJ42. Looks real clean. Funky color tho. For 11,300. Could probably be pick up around 10k. Looks like a deal to me

I spoke with the owner, it was a daily driver since 1983. They drove this during the winter too...
Some kind of yearly rust protection was done, but it does have rust on the frame. They painted the body
late last year and patched up the rust that was on the body...
I'm getting pictures, so I'll see how bad the damage is... It does look very nice though!

Very often in that region they don't salt secondary roads, they use coarse sand. Ask for a picture of the rear cross member and a picture of the rear shackle mounts. The front of the frame is usually not rusted. Ha and the inside C channel.

It is a good 7-8 hours drive from montreal...

I hope someone here gets it. First time i see a 1983 for sale in Canada.

Someone i know went to see the truck. BEWARE the frame is rusted out. And the tube was heavily repaired with fiberglass. I have no more detail then that. Worth alot less then asking price.
