Did anyone catch the three 45s for sale?????

All of them sold for 2K Canadian each, missing roof and windshield frames.

Apparently they came out of pot ash mines, I have heard the worst about those trucks.

Hey Rob,

Where were the sold? I search really often and didn't see them. For that price one would make a great project.

anything that comes out of a potash mine isn't worth scrap prices... you would spend much more than the truck will be worth in the end...
sorry to pop any dreamers out there...

I found one for sale on Autotrader Canada, it sounds like what you described Rob... So are these trucks just abused or does the potash cause a whole other set of problems? Their price doesn't seem to unreasonable at $2500 CA (if they were worth messing with)

I have no expierence with these types of trucks, according to the gang they fall apart once out of the mine.

The guy sold them for 2K each in the end and will be getting more.

I have done a little research on these mine trucks. From what I understand, these trucks are exposed to lots of corosive stuff while underground but it doesn't affect them really bad until they are brought to the surface and exposed to moisture and humidity. I heard that after being out in the elements even the aluminum parts turn worthless. I guess if you could get one fresh out of the mine and clean the s*** out of it it may be worth messing with.

Does anyone else have any info on these cruisers?
