Seeking $14,000 Firm
This 1980 Toyota pickup was registered in Colorado with its previous owner from 1998 until 2023, during which it was retrofitted with a five-speed manual transmission, a Marlin Crawler transfer case, and ARB air lockers. Powered by a 2.2-liter inline-four, it also has Marlin Crawler tubular bumpers, rock sliders, and a Wildernest bed canopy with an integrated tent (Tent is in great shape as well). Its SR5-style interior features bucket seats, a center console, and air conditioning. Includes owner’s manual, accessories, removed and spare parts, and a clean Colorado title.
The truck wears a brown repaint (Sept 2023) and was originally white, and it has headlight guards, rock sliders, and Marlin Crawler bumpers with receiver hitches. A pop-up tent folds out from the roof of the WilderNest bed canopy.
The 15″ steel wheels have bright hubcaps and are mounted with 33×9.50″ BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO tires. The truck rides on lifted leaf-spring suspension, and vacuum-assisted front disc brakes are paired with rear drums. Air lockers are included and installed with onboard air compressor.
SR5 bucket seats are trimmed in patterned cloth over carpeted floors, and the cab has air conditioning and a sliding rear window in addition to an SR5-style dashboard with woodgrain trim. A Uniden two-way radio is mounted on the Tuffy center console, however an antenna is not currently installed.
A Grant steering wheel frames an SR5-specification instrument cluster with a tachometer, and gauges for amperage and oil pressure are centrally mounted below the dashboard. The 85-mph speedometer has 98k miles showing on its five-digit odometer, which has rolled over once.
The carbureted 20R 2.2-liter inline-four engine was factory rated at 90 horsepower and 122 lb-ft of torque. The seller reports the coolant and engine oil were replaced in August 2024.
Power is delivered to the rear or all-four wheels via a five-speed manual transmission, a Marlin Crawler transfer case, and solid axles with ARB pneumatic locking differentials.Accessories, a set of four wheels with Swamper LTB tires, and spare parts that accompany the truck are shown further at the end of the gallery below.
The truck has 5.29 gears in it.
There's a bunch of no longer available items that went with this truck (and come with the purchase). Including manuals, vehicle history and so on. Some misc. items shown & included. 2 of 4 tires/rims (2nd set of mud tires) in that photo.
A true Toyota long bed diamond in the rough.
