Is anyone making a slider that fits 40's that have the exhaust running outside of the frame? Something kinda like the 80's have that still protects the converter?

Thanks!

two objects cannot occupy the same space so you either have to move the exhaust or the slider. I guess one could fab a slider to go under the exhaust but that would hang pretty low and defeat the whole purpose anyway, right?

I am in the same boat. I plan on re-routing the exhaust inside the frame to the rear of the vehicle. It's going to be a challenge becaue I have to work around the gas tank, but the result will be worth it.

Well...I just went through putting on a MAF two piece header. It's goona be a tough bend to go from the header up thru the inside of the frame. I hate to have to replace the header after the struggle to get it to seal off and tap new threads for a header bolt!

I guess another option is to get a slider that replaces the step. This option still leaves my exhaust exposed on top of drilling holes in the body.

I need a super exhaust fabricator or crafty slider design.
