I bought this Prindle out of Socal a year ago. I planned on sailing her last year but we got pregnant again. I've had no time to sail her due home projects all last summer. I could use the money for other things and need to let her go till I have time to get another. I bought this boat from a gentleman who bought it from the original owner. The second owner never sailed it due to hernia and only had it a couple months. Essentially it's a one owner boat and in great condition for the price.

Here's what you get, 1980 Prindle 16, no soft spots, no repairs ever. Sail bags for both sails with a window on the main sail. Comes with everything ready to sail. Nice Peek painted trailer with fiberglass locking Catbox, 1 year old tires, new light kit. Asking $1000
title in hand for both

it's the fastest 20+mph you are going to go! You can rig it and be sailing in under a half hour.

Nice rig! Well worth a grand.

Where else could you have this much fun for a $1k? You can't even get a decent stand up paddle board for $1k! Check out this video, It gives a good idea of what these Prindles can do!

and btw, it's still available, spring sailing is almost here! :D

Outside of the Nacra, this was my favorite cat to sail. Prindles were probably the toughest of the tough. You couldn't even run into a cigarette butt on a Nacra without busting your egg shell. I have seen Prindles plow into crab trap buoys while cat walking. After you pitch pole, just right it and sail on.

Don't forget the Hobies in this thread!!!

Did the prindles have a foam core back then like the hobies always have ? I'm pretty sure nacras didn't back then and if you got a hole in it the boat would sink.

No foam core. You can see in through the access holes that's it's a sandwich layup of some kind.
Boat is still available.
