1980 FJ40 restified f/s in NC

1980 FJ40, full off-frame resto over last few years. Repainted 653 Olive Brown. 2F H42 long 4 speed, split case, 38K miles on frame/motor (but I don't think I can prove that). Factory p/s, rear full floater with factpry RDB and factory LSD. 4.10 f/r. full OME suspension, all new metal, new Toyota tailights, Toyota turnsignals etc throughout. I planned on keeping this forever. More detail and pictures available. $ 21K obo. Located in Fayetteville, NC.

Having seen the rig in person i can attest to how great it is. He has done an outstanding job on this one. You will not be disappointed at all whoever the lucky person that buys it.

What are you going to build next " Sir " ?

I am going through a "change in family status". I really don't want to sell this, but...

Anyway, I will eventually build something else. Probably something for autocross, and cheaper.

Thanks for the e-mails with pics, Rick. A 40 like yours is exactly what I am looking for, unfortuntely yours is a little out of the price range I am looking to stay within.

Awesome looking 40, whoever buys it looks to be getting a great ride.

Sure you can post 'em, thank you! I would if I could figure out how to make them small enough. I hope I sent more recent ones. I had sent out some older ones that did not have the 1/4 windows installed before. Anyway, I can always send more if anyone wants them. And yes, there are a few little details that still need to be finished (emblems for instance). There always are.... As far as being "a little" out of the price range, well, that's what the "obo" was meant for :-)

Rick - Not a problem. I will post them for you today.

I am in the process of selling some of my hoard. If I do that in time and this 40 is still around, we'll have to talk.
