For Sale 1980 FJ-40 Factory AC/PS!

Hi Folks, I am posting this for a friend I know very little about this rig, but I am available to inspect it if anyone wants me to. I'll put the seller's contact info at the bottom.

The Good:

New Suspension
New Tub (not installed)
Sand blasted body and frame
Frame coated with POR-15
A metric crap-ton of extra/new parts.(listed on the next post)
Over 20k put into it so far.

The bad:
A bit of rust on the body, frame looks good, but I didn't look real close.

The Ugly:

The truck is in mid restoration and the owner has run out of steam. Drivetrain is removed, interior is removed, (pretty much everything was taken off for the sand blasting.) I don't know the mileage. First pics will show before resto, and last pics will show current condition.

Your buddy would be better off selling the new stuff to put a dent in the $10g's he's aking, and sell the rig seperatley for $2000-$2500. Is the tub a repro or a clean OEM? If it's a clean OEM tub you could get 3-4k right there. Regardless, most guys on this site know FJ's and if they had 10g's to throw down on a project truck, it would be a hell of alot further along. Not saying you can't get close to 10 grand, but you may want to rethink how to.

Just reread the parts list. Maybe a little less considering its a repro 1/2 tub. I may be in the market for one of them in the near future.
