G'day all,

I'm not sure if I am meant to do this, but I don't see why not. I have listed my 1980 BJ40 on Ebay, and I would love to see it go to a good home in the Up Above. It is far too nice a rig to stay in Australia, and it needs a loving home. I will help ship it from here if anyone wins it in the US/Canada. There are loads of pictures/info on it on Ebay. Thanks, and let me know if this is verboten, and I will delete this thread.

1980 Toyota LandCruiser BJ40 - eBay Post-1970, Collector Cars, Cars, Cars, Bikes, Boats. (end time 15-Oct-08 18:20:44 AEST)
Cheers,

Josh

This truck is sold, and is going to a new home in the US. One more Cruiser in the Up Above!

Sold, and on her way to the USA!

Also, if a Mud member buys this rig I would be happy to get things like an HJ60 power steering box, disk brakes, 5 speed, etc. for it and have the Cruiser place install it. I could arrange for the install, get the parts from the wreckers, and make sure it is done right. Then you can just pay the installer. With the cost of the Aussie dollar only 65 cents right now, you could even get OME or EFS suspension, some lockers, and whatever else you wanted from down here (long range tank?). I probably would not do any body work down here, as that is expensive even with the exchange rate- but stuff like turbos, suspension and tanks are pretty cheap right now, and they could all be shipped together.... just a thought. PM me if you have any questions. I also have more photos of it if anyone wants to see them.

Cheers,

Josh

Sorry dingbatt, no offence intended.:) What I should have said was that with the cost of registration, petrol, tyres and oil in Australia, the low speed limits, the speed cameras on every bloody traffic light, most of the decent four wheeling areas closed down in Australia, not to mention the Engineer's certificate needed to do just about anything to your rig....the US is simply a better place to have a Cruiser. PLUS, Cruisers LOVE snow!:D

Take heart ding, we have not shipped all the Cruisers to America...yet.

Cheers,

Josh
