Tha't crazy

Double tapped the zero or it got stuck!

I just made a solid full offer for $6,000.00 we'll see if he bites.

The truck wasn't all he imported...

It does get "standing ovations" from strangers as he drives by... so it has that going for it

Yet another example of rampant bloating of the market.

What's the point in a for sale ad like that? At most that's an $8K AUD truck (and with effort searching it could well be found for half that), plus $3K-$4K USD for shipping, customs, etc. Even if you went through an outfit like AUStoUSA who would do all of the work of finding and bringing it over you could easily come in under $15K.

Is this just a case of "I promised my wife I would try to sell it?" An attempt to gather exposure? A hope that someone will offer $25K - $30K? I don't get it.

The $60K asking price is a perfect example of the greedy nature of humanity and someone's naive expectation that some pathetic buyers will actually purchase this highly sought after model in its original UN-restored state at a heavy premium. Even a fully restored example is a hard sell at that price unless you are a millionaire and price is no object, but not here.

I finally got a response from the seller, my offer was declined and he had this to say: "Don't worry - you still have options to find what you're looking for!" No scat!!
