The conversion was done in may of 2001 in california. With a total for parts and labor a little shy of 12000 dollars. It will pass california emissions. The conversion was done right and not your typical cobbled up backwoods small block conversion.

Have all paper work for the engine conversion and most everything else on the 40 with smog test and all. A binder full.

Have extra misc parts to go with it.

This 40 is made to drive and have fun in. Not perfect but it is damn nice!! Take it trail riding, camping whatever. People will talk your ear off over this thing. Needs cosmetics if you chose to do so. You can and buy it and drive it home. It drives excellent down the road.

This cruiser is an excellent specimen not junk not eat up with rust. These 79-83 models are hard to find especially around here. If you want something you can stick a key in and drive then this is it. Cheap to maintain chevy engine and transmission.

No trades only reason i am selling is
to get something larger to take the family out camping and trail riding. I have already purchased a tacoma from a member on the board.

Yes I do. Great looking ride! I'll be ready in about 4 month. Glws!

It looks good but the exterior liner may be a turnoff to somebody paying that kind of $$. I'm a fan of raptor liner myself but I've never sprayed an exterior. Good luck with the sale.

Yeah I thought about just priming it out. But I said the hell with it and sprayed it. It turned out nice though! Thanks!

Great looking truck... I'm bout to get burnt out on my west coast attempts for a good rust free rig with Toyota drivetrain. You haven't got a 2F lurking in your garage have you? ;)

Ive got 4 speed tranny with tranfer case and drive shafts for one. That I would let go with it. Sell the conversion out of it and stick a 2f back in it!

mama just gave me the green light to get a 40......but I have to wait 10 months. Otherwise, I would be on this one. Love it.

Thanks all! Its a solid cruiser just needing a new home! Ive had lots of 40s this is the best driver ive ever had.

That would be totally nuts! This is a nice truck. Too bad no hard top.

Maybe you should post up some more pics, such as showing the tailgate area. Where does the exhaust exit?

Any engine bay pics? Bump for what looks to be a great truck. (lusting after it to put into service in my tree work.)
