Putting my recent acquisition up for sale because I found a better candidate for what I want to do.

Mud Silver Star price is $3,000 (no haggle price). I could part it for more if I wanted to take the time. If you don’t have a star, quit being so cheap, support MUD and buy one, then we’ll talk. (https://forum.ih8mud.com/account/upgrades)

Link to a good discussion on the truck’s merits and issues with lots of pics of the good, bad, and ugly. Wide range of opinions on the thread, but I’m still in the camp of “it can be saved”. Just going to require some time, energy, and $ on the body.

PM me with questions.

Sorry the body didn't turn out to be as solid as the mechanicals...

Thanks, Man. I was on the hunt for a tub when I found another 40 that is a much better starting point.

We'll likely be learning to weld bout the same time... floor pan, quarter panel and patching the bed are next for me.
Luck to you going forward!

She fires right up on full choke without pumping the pedal. Wants some choke or sputters and dies. I haven't touched the carb yet.
