So the story behind this FJ40. A few months ago me and my grandfather were going to fix up an old Chevy truck, but after my father showed me a picture of an Fj40 i fell in love with them and wanted to fix one of them up instead of a Chevy. So a month ago we got our hands on one that had a V8 in it and us being us, we wanted everything to be original so that's how we got this 1977 model. The day after we bought it we came to the conclusion that it was just going to be to much trouble and money to get everything together and switch them out so here it is lol.
What's left of the truck is all original. The 2F motor, the frame, transfer case (we also have an extra transfer case that came with my 1980 model), transmission is all there and we were told that it was driven under a shed two years ago so i would say the motor just needs the proper care and it will be running again. The front radiator is the only thing that is missing but we took off the front panel that folds down and the case that holds the radiator so if you buy this that comes with it.
I don't yet have pictures of the under of the truck because the tires are all shredded. And we might keep the hubs because i like them better than the ones on mine.
