sweet ride..

LOL you never sent me those pics a few weeks ago when we were chatting on kijiji. I was ready to buy at your old kijiji price...

Beautiful! Are there any challenges bringing it across the border? Is it better to ship or drive it thru customs? Not a perspective buyer, just curious.....but i know a potential buyer to direct to you.

I know it is possible to drive or ship. It would be up to the buyer to look into the necessary paperwork and be responsible for transport.

I've looked into it recently, it's just a couple of forms and some fees to pay at crossing time. Seems easy and dont let that scare away any prospective buyers. There is a good thread in the importing section on bringing Canadian rigs into the states.

Btw, nice 40 GLWS.

Any idea how I could determine what model the winch actually is? I'll have a look and report back.
There should be a metal tag on the top of the gear housing. Looks like an 8274.

The 8274 was an original dealer option for this truck and this winch has also been rebuilt
Looks like that winch was manufactured in 1981 and your truck is a 77, so unless that truck sat on the dealer's lot for 4 years, it probably wasn't a dealer installed option at time of purchase.

Thanks for pointing that out. I'll remove that from all my ads and maybe just put "it has a working Warn winch" to simplify things.

If anyone has any interest it is still for sale.

I would say its a Warn 8274 winch.

I would also adjust the driver's side bib and apron so that the hood comes back into alignment. It may also be the hood hinges that need adjusting.

Ok, someone educate the tenderfoot. PM me and tell me what you do or don't see in the photos. No bids and its 2 hours till the auction on ebay is over.
