This vehicle lived 99% of it's life in the southern part of Japan where I bought it from. It was a 1 owner was very lightly used over the last 40 years, as many vehicles in Japan tend to be. It underwent a re paint 3 years ago in Japan in it's original color mustard yellow 532 and I have since brought it over to the US, legally. It is registered and titled in Oregon. I continued to put a great deal of work and time into it over this year and it's a real gorgeous ride. I have done my best to maintain it's original factory look, as it was originally presented in Japan from the dealer in 1977, only variance being the white wheels / bumpers. It is right hand drive, and has most of the amenities of a North American market FJ40. 4 Speed transmission, heat, etc. This is not a stripped down general market / south american spec BJ40, but rather a true Japanese market one.

Bump for RHD! I've found my recent RHD purchase to be a lot of fun to drive, and a great conversation starter while out. Nice for tall drivers as shift leg "knee" has lots of room being inboard vs. next to door. GLWS..
