So I bought this 76 piggie off of CL to use as a parts rig...but I just took it for a drive in the mountains and it is just way too solid to part out. I could get a lot more by parting it out, but I really hate to see a solid piggie go to waste!
Here are some details:
350 with 4 speed tranny and tcase
disc brake front axle
very solid doors
very solid rear hatch and glass and it works!!
all glass good except for windshield
interior good and complete, dash pad and glove box door are great!
rear seat is in very nice shape. front seat is covered so no idea the shape it is in.
all emblems and lights are there, and the lights work. (Have the turn signals in a box)
good hood, but they added hooks?
also a sun roof...ugh...but this is made to be a wheelin rig, not a restoration piece
runs and drives great! Took it from my place in Golden up to Golden Gate Canyon State Park, about 20 miles up winding mountain roads, and it drove awesome and handled very well.
No rear cargo panels, but the door panels are good and the rubber floor mat is in great shape in the cargo area and under the seats.
Has a rear heater, too.
All in all a very solid rig that would make a great project for someone. I would need $3k or I would have to part it out. I will take some more pics this week, let me know if there are any you would want to see.
Thanks!
Timm
