Not sure if I'm asking too much or not. Cant get it to shift into 4wd for some reason (2wd works and truck starts and drives), will negotiate on the price due to current condition.

with a low compression Ford V-8 I bet you're looking at half of what you're asking. Not trying to aggravate you but just giving you a neutral opinion.

If you had the original engine to go with it you might get a bit more than half. Cruiser market is in the toilet.

x2 about the ford v-8...

and the blown transfer case does not help either, especially because of the low miles; the other owner must have rally RAGED it!

i would not say that the cruiser market is in the toilet though, thats a bit harsh. it really depends on where you are and the condition of the vehicle, and has nothing to do with a s***-talking egotistical attitude like the other poster has!

Just a thought...

I would trade for a classic bmw, kawasaki h2 750, honda cb750, or a cafe racer style motorcycle.
