1976 FJ40 in CO: $6900 (PRICE REDUCED!)

1976 Toyota Landcruiser FJ40 for Sale!

[STRIKE]$8,500[/STRIKE] $6,900 Or Best Offer

I am selling my '76 Cruiser, unfortunately, because I'm just not driving it much anymore... work and life keeping me too busy. It's an extremely fun ride, though!

Call Dan: 970-846-8976 or PM me here to inquire more or schedule a test-drive.
Located in Steamboat Springs, CO

  • 1976 FJ40 with the original 2F engine
  • Only 60K miles on it!
  • Full hard top with hard doors
  • Bikini top with vinyl half doors
  • 5 summer tires: 35" with aluminum wheels (lots of tread left)
  • 5 winter tires: studded original size wheels (practically new)
  • 4" suspension lift
  • Side tube rails
  • Tube front bumper
  • Grill guards for lights
  • Fog lights
  • Tinted rear windows
  • Custom seats
  • Center console
  • Fast-remove tape player
  • MSD ignition system
  • Weber carb
  • Saginaw power steering conversion
  • Master brake cylinder recently replaced
  • New shocks/suspension
  • New tie rod ends
  • Rear heater (never installed, but should be working fine)
  • Custom-fit floor mats for front and back
  • Garaged for most of the time the past 3 years and for a good portion of the past 10 years (according to the previous owner)
  • Front heater & defrost recently repaired

  • A few disclaimers:
  • It does have some mild rust in the usual places
  • The drivers' side floorboard is the worst rust... everything else seems only surface rust
  • The steering is a little squirrley. Some of that is because of the 35" tires. Some of that may be fixable. I replaced all the tie rod ends and had all the links tightened, but more may be done.
  • The right-rear quarter-panel is slightly scratched & dented from a mild rear-end (mild to me... not so mild to the one who hit me. Doh!)
  • The right-rear turn-signal and brake light are missing the plastic cover, but the lights work.

mp_cude,

Your kidding, right?

Showing that it can get dirty is a bad thing? Really?

(It all cleaned off btw. The fifth picture is after all that muddin'.)

Anyway, I can understand having a mint-looking ride helps to sell it, but it's a 33yo 4by... it's meant to get dirty (and it does it very well, as you can see).

:-)
