1975 Honda CB125S... - cleanest 40 year old bike you've ever seen

SOLD

$1400 will take it

Located near Ann Arbor MI

It's the nicest one out there. Not a speck of dirt, oil, rust or anything. Look at the pics... it's showroom condition or better. $1500... you cannot restore one to this condition for less. The exhaust, the bars, the signals, the frame, the engine... it's all perfect.

1975 Honda CB125S 10,9xx miles Starts on the first or second kick Runs/rides/shifts great No leaks, no smoke, etc

Flaws:
One small ding in the chrome front fender
Clear coat peeling a tiny bit under the gas cap, can't really see it with the cap on
Front tire has a crack in the sidewall. Holds air, but gets low after a week or so

NOTE: The title is still in the original owner's name. I never transferred it. This way, it's technically still a "one owner" bike. If this bothers you... and you are SERIOUS about buying it, I will title it in my name before selling it to you. This may take a week or two for SOS to mail me the new title.
PS: I do still have the original height bars, in very very good condition, if that's more your style

Still available... $1400 will take it

Is shipping something UPS could handle?

Probably if you took the wheels off and shipped separately. I bet it would still cost $200-500, just a guess. :)

....And there lies the problem.

Forward Air would be the best choice I think. I think they will supply the container, you just need to empty the bike of all fluids and strap it into the container yourself. And you need to use a major airport at each end.

I'm not sure about Forward Air or UPS or anything like that...

I had a sportbike shipped from MN to MI for $350. Basically it was a pickup truck with a 30' enclosed trailer and he had a few other bikes in there. For carriers like this, it's just a matter of timing and their ability to combine your shipment with others that are en route so it's not out of their way.

I can put it in one of my sprinter vans and get it to you for $.90/mile. Other carriers with regular cargo vans would be more like $.75/mile

This is a really cool bike and would be fun to own however unless you live locally, shipping cost would quickly negate the reasonable asking price.

I had another guy drive 100 miles to me from Ft Wayne IN.... brought his daughter with him and said it was for her first bike. And then said "Well, she has $800"

Ugh. See ya. Glad you wasted $50 in gas, 5 hours of your time and 1 hour of my time.

However, it did give me good enough reason to get it out and ride around on it for an hour yesterday. :)

That's annoyingly frustrating.

If you still have it in late August when I have a trailer with me in East Lansing I might have to snag it...

Sold it yesterday.
