1975 Honda CB125S... - cleanest 40 year old bike you've ever seen

SOLD

$1400 will take it

Located near Ann Arbor MI

It's the nicest one out there. Not a speck of dirt, oil, rust or anything. Look at the pics... it's showroom condition or better. $1500... you cannot restore one to this condition for less. The exhaust, the bars, the signals, the frame, the engine... it's all perfect.

1975 Honda CB125S 10,9xx miles Starts on the first or second kick Runs/rides/shifts great No leaks, no smoke, etc

Flaws:
One small ding in the chrome front fender
Clear coat peeling a tiny bit under the gas cap, can't really see it with the cap on
Front tire has a crack in the sidewall. Holds air, but gets low after a week or so

NOTE: The title is still in the original owner's name. I never transferred it. This way, it's technically still a "one owner" bike. If this bothers you... and you are SERIOUS about buying it, I will title it in my name before selling it to you. This may take a week or two for SOS to mail me the new title.
PS: I do still have the original height bars, in very very good condition, if that's more your style

Nice! I wonder what shipping something like this would be like & involved. BTW, is 125 considered street legal?

It's street legal.... but you cannot go on the expressway. Nor would you really want to.

Top speed is about 65mph, but that's wringing it's neck, downhill with a tailwind. It's most comfortable cruising between 35-45mph. There are tweaks and such for a bit more HP and MPH, but I wanted to leave it stock.

Shipping... I just recently shipped a motorcycle 700 miles from the Minneapolis area to my house for $350. Enclosed, insured, etc.

:meh: sold for $2075 on eBay... got more than I thought, but a bit chapped that the '74 I listed above went for more.... oh well, on to the next

Dang I just noticed this. You've got all the good stuff! What else are you selling?

:D a nice, unused $400 REI tent for $200?

actually, the CB125S may still be sort of available. The eBay buyer told me that he has another bike he may be buying tonight. He said he will still pay me for both (he HAS sent me the $500 deposit)... but wants to know if I would act as a "Selling agent" and re-list it for him. I told him I don't mind, as long as he pays me what he owes me, and I can't guarantee that it will get the same amount that he paid... and he said he understands that.

Soooo... I bet somebody could buy it from him, through me, for somewhere between $1500-$2000..

..... "Shipping... I just recently shipped a motorcycle 700 miles from the Minneapolis area to my house for $350. Enclosed, insured, etc." ........

Could you handle some of the shipping logistics if someone bought it and needed some assistance?
Thanks....

I could certainly put you in touch with the people who brought my ZX-7 to me. Where would it be delivering to?

Well... the "buyer" isn't responding to my emails about his arrangement. He's got 2 more days and then I keep his $500 deposit and relist it.

OK. An update on this. The bike sold on eBay. After a bit of chasing and other nonsense, the buyer HAS paid me. He paid $500 via PayPal and $1575 via check that I cashed on 5/10 and appears to have cleared without issues.

That having been said, either the guy can't be bothered to set up the shipping (He lives in UT) or the shipping costs are too much to make it worth his while. He has asked me to "re-sell" the bike for him.

I will be listing it on eBay within the week and I will give you guys the link. However, if anybody is interested, make an offer and I will forward it on to him. I'm betting somebody could snap this up for a reasonable price.

It's a shame shipping is so expensive. That bike would be fun. :)
