Hi all.

Well...life and kids...you guys know this story. Up for sale is my in-progress resto-mod FJ55. I've got a few pictures and happy to take more. Interior is Chevy Silverado power seats, Tuffy console, CD/mp3 radio. Rear bench has been modified and now houses a 60/40 split bench with tumble option on top of a custom welded seat bracket.

Paint color is Land Cruiser white (of course), with standard Toyota black in a semi-gloss finish on the hood and roof.

Rig runs, drives, turns, stops. Mechanically more than ready for the road. It's really all about the little bit of finish work remaining.

I have plenty more details and info for anyone who is interested. A couple local Cruiser guys (who are much older and wiser than I) said it was easily a $10k rig with the finish work done (which is all in boxes and not installed of course:). So my initial thought is throw it out at $7500 OBO? I'm all up for your input and happy to make a deal with any Mudder!

Thanks all!

Pre-weekend bump...

Regarding the price, it really is OBO. I am not married to it by any means just have to be able to explain the final number to the accounting department (aka wife).

Thanks Pablo. That would obviously require time away from those wife/kids/etc.:-) I'll get on that over the holiday break for sure when I have time to really outline all the goodies...well...at least I have time in theory.

Pretty sure you don't want to sell that thing. I think a better plan would be to RE-BRAND it. All the big companies do it. Find the new words that make it indespensable and something where it will be seen in a new light.

Thanks for all the replies guys! I have to apologize for being MIA. I have been posting and replying here with my new phone and I certainly did something wrong because...well...there's nothing here! Live and learn.

xtremeVA...PM replied to. Again, sorry for the delay.

onemanarmy...I appreciate the support! Determining an opening price was next to impossible. Any given person, time, location, etc. can swing these Pig numbers by multiple digits and decimal points...hence why I went with what the guys older and wiser suggested.
