I have a 1975 FJ40 for sale. Absolute blast to drive and starts up right away. Trying to have kids soon so need something with a bit more room. Super fun rig, will be sad to let it go. $6,250 pretty firm.
Pros:
Chevy 350 V8, head & intake gaskets replaced in last six months, carb rebuilt in last two years
Power Steering
Clutch and rear main seal replaced in last year
Tires, brakes, and wheel cylinders all redone in last two years
Axle replaced in last two years
Frame is straight and clean (very minor surface rust at most in some spots)
Cons:
Seats are pretty rough. Bought them a year ago to replace Chevy bucket seats and haven't reupholstered yet. Rear passenger side jump seat needs to be welded.
Odometer has never worked. I put, at most, 2,000 miles a year since 2010.
Previous owner's paintjob is less than ideal.
Not in pics but do have:
Front and rear heater
