I read all 1973-1978 seats have headrest slots, and in 1976 were offered as an option .

Did it have the holes for the headrests with plugs filling the holes? My 73 has headrests and a set of 74 seats bought in 83 had the plugs. Not sure when they became standard, but all had the holes for headrests.

Shoot, that’s a good question.. I had my seats re-done many years ago. I will look when I do them again.

This is my understanding as well. My seats are 73-78 and have headrests.
Also, these seats look pretty good. New foam is not cheap, these look like they just need skins.
