My 1974 FJ55 Cruiser is now moved a bit further East and still up for sale. Here are some details for anybody interested in coming to check it out in the McKinney area of Dallas.
1974 FJ55 LandCruiser
Lived life in Albuquerque NM area as far as I am aware
Strong F motor
Rear axle swapped out for a 1988 FJ62.
New exhaust system block to tail pipe
4 speed tranny
Front axle stock
Round eyes headlights
Ceramic header
Partial collection of parts needed for factory AC included
New OEM size tires (added this March)
FJ62 rims (to fit the bigger rear axle drums)
-Usual 55 rust in usual 55 spots
-New roof was added sometime in the past
-Appears to have either been tipped on its side, or something fell on it at some time of this Cruiser's life. Don't know the story but I can see the evidence.
- Always starts and always has been an able weekend Cruiser
- Selling it to make room for another project
- Rear glass works fine
- Rear tail gate latch broke off (taking the tires to the dump that were replaced in March) but I have the parts that can be re-welded together.
