This 1972 FJ40 is finished in it's mostly original Spring Green paint. This vehicle is a mostly original survivor, a rare find. The front passenger fender was repainted at some point in it's history. The paint has been restored with polishing, buffing, and wax. The frame has had it’s undercoating removed, and a now wears a fresh coat of paint.
This FJ40 is powered by the legendary 3.9L F Line straight six engine, with a 4 speed manual transmission, complete with the optional PTO connected to the winch. A period correct auxiliary gas tank was added by a previous owner. This Land Cruiser was recently lightly restored, work includes: The addition of a 2.5" lift, medium duty, Old Man Emu complete suspension system. The front axle steering knuckles have been refreshed with new seals, gaskets, and grease/oil. The front brakes have been converted to disc brakes. All steering linkages have been replaced, as well as a recent front end alignment. New Toyota wheels and 33" BFG K03 tires have been installed. The cooling system has been completely overhauled; new hoses, clamps, radiator, water pump, thermostat, and more. All oils have been changed; both axles, diff, tcase, engine.
