Factory heater with drains thru the transmission cover would made it a 75/76 if it were a FJ40. HJ45 not sure. That is the pickup bed off a 75 series truck. Still a very nice looking truck.

Looks to be at least a 1975... Doors, hood, windshield frame, etc. With a 75 series bed.

Plus with a 2H it would not be a 45 but rather a 47.

looking at the pics it looks a "H" to me. Toyodiy shows a HJ45 first in 1972. But I agree, doors and bottom mounted wipers say later.

Doors and windshield would be pretty easy to update. I notice the cab is made for the later style door catch. Pretty easy to make a adapter to use on a easier model but welded in the piece from a later tub would require a lot more work. Possible but guessing along with everything else it's a later (75/76) cruiser.

No way that's a 72 but it is a h motor
72 would still have wipers up top has later doors and later indicators too.. and h motor didn't come out till 74/75 and then replaced by 2h in 1980
Ok yes unless it has all been changed over.. But maybe the French have miscalculated!

straight 6 diesel D engines were the main diesel used before that in all heavy trucks

yes HJ45 in Europe and Gen started in 4/72 .... just double checked

however that truck looks as if its a mix of parts... the vin would say if it stated as an HJ
