Just putting a feeler out there on my 1972 FJ55 (first picture was when I bought it, second is as it sits now). Its my project that I have slowly been working on but might be going in another direction. I am in the process of taking it apart but it is a complete cruiser. It is pretty rusty but I bought most all of the replacement metal from bobm that will take care of most of the rust and I have an extra fender in decent shape. The extra sheet metal includes body mounts, front and rear floor boards, fender patches and replacement rockers (there might be a few other pieces I'm forgetting).

I also have a 1974 f.5 that I will include since the engine in it now has a hole in the block. If I don't sell everything as a whole, it would make a great parts car. I was thinking $1500 for everything or $700 for just the cruiser without the engine or replacement parts.

Well if she doesn't sell, I am definitely keeping her, not parting her out. I am going to look at a 1976 pig today that's in better shape and will probably end up buying it. I was going to use the money from this to put toward the 76 but if anything I will just put the bobm parts into my 76 as an upgrade.

If magically your 55 appeared in Atlanta I'd buy it. As others have stated...........looks too good to chop up so keep it together. In 20 years you will kick yourself in the balls for selling a 55 for $700. Try and buy that side mirror and see what those are bringing............perhaps that will give you a new appreciation for that old sow.

U BUY IT?

Finally sold the pig for what I paid for it (minus the bobm parts which I decided to keep in case I run into any problems with my future pig project(s) and they're just too pretty to sell) and she is going to a good home to get restored. Now that I have the funds, I am going this weekend to make an offer on this 1976 Pig that runs and is in MUCH better condition.

Hey Richard I see that your on the forum that's funny cause I didn't see this till after I already bought the pig. Thanks again I will be posting some pics as soon as I get her on the road.

Have you found a new pig yet? I had to do some carb rebuilding and I painted the tank and it's back underneath now. Getting interior re installed as well I should have some pics soon.
