FOR SALE... 18.5K OBO I can't change the "Trade" in front of the listing.

I have a 1971 FJ40 Street Legal Crawler (not a daily driver) that I have not had time to use as intended. I will throw it out there to trade for a 1981 or newer clean FJ40 stocker(no V8 Etc.) of equal value (19-20K) or consider other clean Stocker 40 close to that year since it sits in my garage and not driven. I would love to use it more but with the little ones I am down to 1-2 Rubicon type trips a year and the rest does not justify a built 40 like this. I have been driving my Cummins 4BT 80 since I can put the whole family in it, car seats and all! My 40 has:

• Rust free tub, Nice Paint and Clear Coat
• D60 Front,ARB, 35 spline alloy shafts, WFO behind axle hy-steer
• PSC Hydrolic assist P/S with Derale cooler
• Dedenbear Knuckles
• ½” thick diff covers F/R
• Front 3 link With 2.5 “ Fox 14” Air Shocks
• Rear 4 link With 16” King Coilovers
• D60 Rear,ARB,14 bolt outers,Dutchman alloy 35 spline shafts
• All Stainless Braided Brake lines and ARB lines
• Electric line locks for R/L sides
• 1350 yoke on .250 wall High Angle drive lines F/R
• 350 TBI with AFI fuel injection and harness
• Rebuilt sm420 Trans Billet Knob
• Atlas II 3.8 32 spline with Billet Shifter knobs
• Aluminum Radiator
• Master Craft Seats
• 20” Trail Ready Bead Locks
• 39.5 “ Irocks 95% tread
• 110.5 Wheel Base
• Warn winch front
• ATV winch rear for squating rear with interior controls
• LED Phantom Guages
• LED Rock Lights
• Piaa Headlights and LED turn and brake lights
• 6100m infinity sound system
• Custom Brand new Eletrical system including custom Dash.
• Cage tied to frame including engine cage
• ETC….ETC…. Too Much to List
This is a Quality Built rig and only Quality parts were used.
Let me know what you got.

Are you running a sway bar? what gears? Any ideas of hours or miles on engine? More (bright) pics would be helpful, close-ups and on the trail!

I will post more pics next week. I am not in town. The motor has approx 45k on it. No sway bars.

4.88 gears with ARB's front and rear.

Finished the 1/4 Inch plate sides with .120 wall DOM Wheel Well Tube Fenders. Extended the space by 2'. Now has a little bed on it for gear and refrigerators. A stock Hard Top will fit as factory. Also re- made the front pan hard bar and mounts. 19.5 or trade for a stock 40 of equal value. Any Interest??

Putting in the New LED 6" Oval Tail Lights Tomorrow to make it street legal again. The old ones were in the tub like a ***P. I hated that look. They will go in the 2x3 below the back doors.
