This 40 Series is owned by a friend of mine. Non-original yellow paint is so-so. Interior is clean. Dash is original. Nice soft top, no hard top. Good tires and wheels, 4 drum brakes, Chevy 350 with headers, original 3 speed tranny, nice aftermarket stereo and speakers. I believe this truck may have only the original 37k miles from looking under the rig. It is really clean with no rust. I didn't spend a lot of time looking at the body, but I didn't see any rust. I doubt this truck has ever been out of California. I don't think that this would be a candidate for those of you who are looking for a purist ride, but with a nice pulling 350 and pretty clean interior, and an original 3 speed, it would make a nice trail ride and get around rig.
I'd pick it up in a second, but my wife wants her new kitchen cabinets. I wanted to pick it up and for some reason she started to get really pissed when I bounced the idea off of her. I don't currently have a 40 series and will not until the kitchen is done.
Crazy women and their priorities.....

He's selling it as he bought it from his boss and he just doesn't have time to play with it. He's an electrician by trade and is just too busy to play.
PM me with your info and I'll pass it on to him. He's willing to negotiate a bit on price and is a really nice guy. He's looking for $8500. Pretty reasonable for a rust free rig and a solid drivetrain.
Located in Vacaville, California
Halfway between San Francisco and Sacramento which are 80 miles apart, so from Vacaville it's a 40 mile drive west to S.F. or a 40 mile drive east to Sacramento on I-80.
By the way, I told him that his bezel was upside down and he laughed. He said that a couple of Cruiserheads have driven by and pointed that out already. He said that he just hasn't had the time to play with the rig or flip the bezel. Too funny.
Thanks, White Shark
