Hi All,

Im in the process on rebuilding my 1968 FJ. Finally i found the box underneath the drivers seat as well as the front seats. Non of them are installed, nether do i have the correct locations on where to install these. At this point it looks like that the drivers seat would be not centered compared the steering wheel. It looks like is about 5 cm ( 2 inches) of.
According the reference pictures i found online the toolbox should be quite close the the actual correct location.
The original location of seat compared the box seem to be about 1 inch offset towards passenger side, but this is not enough to make it centered compared steering wheel.

Im looking for reference pictures (with measurements) where the toolbox should be located. Also im looking for the fact that should the steering wheel/seat be aligned or not

Thank you for your help in advance

From what I recall the seat is not supposed to be centered to the wheel.

Not sure about the tool box location because my son has my 9/69 currently.
I can tell you on that 9/69 that the steering is not centered to the seat just like you described.

Unmolested '69 FST, assuming it's going to line up with a '68 hardtop.....
