SOLD !1967 fj45 lpb long wheelbase pickup. Very honest california born one owner truck. The original owner restored it in the 80's and used a 1978 fj40 as a donor truck for the dash, engine, trans, transfer, and axles. The cowl is original, just the dash was welded in and the firewall area to take advantage of the 78 power booster. The 78 bucket seats and gas tank were also utilized as well as the 78 wiring harness. So not a pure 67 fj45, but I compare it to a canadian spec 1978 fj45, and in all honesty it runs and drives much nicer than an f, 3 spd, drum 45! Its a very solid survivor, driver,no rust through anywhere, frame even has alot of original paint. Bed has a few dings and a left wheel well mishap, but overall very straight with a nice tailgate. Roof has some dents, but no rust which is pretty rare. It had been sitting for 10 years so all the usual stuff was done to get it up and running, new carb, electronic dizzy, master cylinder, newer front disk axle as well as rear disc axle, shocks, bushings, fluids, gas tank cleaned etc. Rear main or oil pan seal has developed a drip or two so it might need to be done in the near future, but this is a solid great no stories or fresh paint hiding gallons of bondo( absolutely no bondo on this rig). No worrying about scratches, get out and enjoy the rig for what its meant to do, work and play! These lpbs are getting very hard to find, and are either basket cases or fully restored so this is in the middle. Quick drivetrain specs, desmogged 2f, h42 4spd, transfercase, front and rear disc brake axles, 33x10.50 tsl swamper radials on welded oem wheels and original acorn hubcaps. It starts up and idles great, shifts great, stops great, goes down the road smooth, can let go of the wheel at 60 mph, no wander. That being said it is still a 49 year old rig and will need little things as to be expected. I personally would enjoy it the way it is, but would be a fairly easy truck to restore if inclined. Great investment as these continue to climb in value. 18k obo gets this fun rig.
