hi gang is this a normal setup for a 66? Also does anyone know the specific OME leaf springs I can use on this?

I have military trailers I haul heavy items. Personally like the stock springs on my 65 FJ45LP-B. Long wheel base it has very nice ride compared to an FJ40. Two inch lift and heavy springs believe will be a stiff ride with an empty bed. Depending on how it's use that is something to consider. I have rear springs from a late model HJ47 from Australia. Now sure Why I bought them other than opportunity for a local would probably never happen again. Believe those are true one ton springs.

Looks like you have a helper spring only on the right side which is extremely odd.

What the heck are these?

The linked listing is for medium (no constant weight) rear springs (CS003R) and 50kg+ front constant weight packs (CS002F). If the OP does not have a front bullbar and/or winch the CS001F springs will be better suited. Even so, if it will mostly ride empty in the pack one pulls the third blade from the top to drop the spring rate and increase comfort.

The heading is misleading if one is not familiar with EMU products.

Yep, correct on all fronts. Seems there was a shock on the pin not too long ago given how clean the bush area is on the pin but I have to wonder how it fitted given how in the way the helper pack is.

The spring Mount with the shock pin on the axle is most likely from an FJ40. 45 had the shock pin on the spring plate. Looks like the swaybar does not have the two rods that connect it to the axle housing. Looks like the axle been switched. Believe it was 75 when the FJ40 shock mount moved to the plate. So guessing the axle is off a pre 75 FJ40 if in the US.

Are there numbers I can look for to determine what axle it is?
